Major events in the life of a baby
Francis is not like other babies, as he has demonstrated over the past 26 days. He has gone from being a night owl, to an insomniac, to a night owl that doesn't even sleep much during the day. We are in need of an older baby to act as a mentor for Francis- teaching him that things like wearing diapers, using pacifiers, and going for a walk in the stroller are all things babies are supposed to enjoy. Even an hour-long car ride was insufficient to make Francis fall asleep several days ago. Nonetheless, he's supercute and usually good-tempered and we've decided to keep him.

Thanks for responding to my blatant internet harassment. However, this post raises a disturbing new set of questions. What do you do with a baby who doesn't sleep AND knows how to crawl...? Should a baby who doesn't sleep look that good...? How long can Will and Jessamine stay awake...? Hmmm, i'll have to think on these. Also, August would like to apply for the mentor job. He can provide professional references.

ReplyDeleteYeah, that's awesome! I don't recall CJ pushing up and stuff that early. Now Francis, you need to sleep at some point or you won't be able to keep that strength up. CJ recommends napping at every opportunity now because there is way more coming!
