Chompy Does Stuff

It was another rainy and cold weekend in Nashville, so Francis was left to amuse himself indoors. Below are some attempts at sitting up, crawling, and flying.

In the first video, Chompy can be seen flapping and spitting in enjoyment at absolutely nothing. He's started spitting until his face turns red and he runs out of air. Will says it's probably related to making certain consonant sounds that he'll need to talk one day.

In the second video, Francis makes his first attempts at crawling outside of his crib. Several times he would roll onto his back and push head-first toward a toy on the ground, and then would roll onto his belly to check his progress.

Chompy Slobberface

Francis is getting cuter and easier to care for by the day. His two front teeth are about a third of the way in and can be seen in a few of the pictures below. He no longer is satisfied sitting in his vibrating chair (and can tip it over) so he spends part of the day in his pack and play in the living room.

The weather today was the nicest it's been in the past month, so we took Francis for a walk that lasted for an hour and twenty minutes. Francis seemed to enjoy it and did not cry at all!

Below are two short videos, one that's about a month old showing the first time we rubbed rice cereal all over Francis's face, and one taken this evening which shows Francis motoring around his crib.
